Iris Josephine Lane Fulk

Mrs. Iris Josephine Lane Fulk, age 78, widow of Mr. Junior W. Fulk of Pinnacle, NC, died Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at the Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. She was born in Stokes County December 3, 1933 to the Late Ira Evan and Myrtle Lawson Lane. Mrs. Fulk was a homemaker and loved to cook for her family, her grandchildren have wonderful memories of chicken and dumplings and the pound cake at grandmothers. Iris was a member of Pinnacle Baptist Church. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law: Tammy and David Renegar, Pinnacle, one son and daughter-in-law: Tim and Anita Fulk, Pilot mountain, NC, three granddaughters: Amanda Fulk Bowman, Lydia Renegar and husband Lee Smith, Lindsay Renegar, great granddaughter: Lauryn Bowman, a special friend: Sue Lackey, Pilot Mountain. Mrs. Fulk was preceded in death by a sister: Mrs. Louise Lane Blackburn. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday March 17, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Pinnacle Baptist Church by Rev. Carl Whittaker and Rev. Gerald Jones. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Hayworth-Miller Funeral home in Rural Hall Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and at other times at the home of her daughter and son-in-law Tammy and David Renegar, Pinnacle, NC. Memorials may be made to the Pinnacle Baptist Church, C/O Brenda Slate 1054 East Old Phillips Road, Pinnacle, NC.
