Irene Allen Hall

Irene Allen Hall, 90, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2010. She was born in Forsyth County to the late William David and Maude Blakley Allen on March 26, 1920. She was a member of Mocks United Methodist Church where she was also a member of the United Methodist Women. Ms. Hall was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Preceding her in death were her husband, Samuel Edward Hall, son, Walter Allen Hall and a grandson, Dwayne Thomas Hall. Surviving are two daughters, Barbara ""Bobbie"" Hall of Stokesdale and Jane Bodenhamer and husband Wayne of Oak Island; daughter-in-law, Linda Hall of Advance; three grandchildren, Linda Whittall and husband David, Daniel Hall and wife Misty and David Hall and wife Kristin; four great-grandchildren, Brianna, Danielle, Mason, and Kora Hall; also surviving are two special nieces, Judy Redding and Donna Gilbert and a special caretaker, Cynthia Brinkley and a special dog, ""Snowball."" A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with Rev. Jerry Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Mocks United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at other times at the home of Linda Hall.
