Inez Cromer Styers

Mrs. Inez Cromer Styers passed away April 3rd, 2010 at Bermuda Commons Nursing Home, at the age of 91. She was born in Forsyth County to the parents of Eva Smith Cromer and Ernest Cromer on October 30, 1918. She retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company with 25 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband Odeous R. Styers in 1991; her father, Ernest Cromer; mother, Eva Cromer, and brother Melvin Cromer. She is survived by two brothers, Bill Cromer and wife Betty, Arnold Cromer and wife Patty; and one sister, Evelyn Cromer Pople of Charlotte. She is also survived by her daughter, Iris Styers Smith and her son Donald Ray Styers and his wife Brenda; four grandchildren, Barry Edward Smith and wife Vivian, Crystal Smith, Maria Smith Mundy and husband Guy, Donna Styers. The great grandchildren are Brandon Mundy, Morgan Smith Warren, and Army Specialist Caleb E. Smith and their mother Toni Smith. A graveside service will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown with Brian King officiating.
