Inez Mitchell

MITCHELL - RURAL HALL Mrs. Inez Mitchell passed away Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Forsyth County on September 29, 1925 to the late Julius and Mary Oaks. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Mitchell; and eight siblings. Surviving are her four children: Marion Speas, Charles Mitchell Sr., Marion Davis (Joseph) and Shirley Scott (Donald Ray); nine grandsons; fifteen great-grandchildren; seven great, great-grandchildren; sister, Savannah Oaks; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with the Rev. Dairl Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park.
