KERNERSVILLE- Mrs. India Dillon Warren, 102, passed away November 24, 2011 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro. She was born in Forsyth Co. October 30, 1909 to the late Atlas Dillon and Addie Dwiggins Dillon. India was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. she was a life-long member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Grover Newton Warren, a daughter, Janie Ellen Warren, and a son; Kenneth Gene Warren, two brothers, two sisters, and a son in law; John Taylor. Surviving are, a daughter; Edith W. Taylor of Greensboro, a son; Donnie Warren (Gail) of Kernersville, sister; Pauline Fairchild of Winston Salem, four grandchildren John, Bill, Chuck Taylor, and Jeff Warren, two great grandchildren; Megan and Shane, a daughter in law; Jean Warren of Kernersville. A Funeral Service will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday at Pine Grove United Methodist Church with Dr, Bonnie Preston Harris, and Rev. Paul Dean officiating. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory in Kernersville. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
