Ina Mae Norman Livingston

Ina Mae Norman-Livingston, 88, of Winston-Salem passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2015. She was born on April 23, 1927 in Surry County to the late Mittie Pearl Norman-Marsh.
Ms. Livingston was employed 39 years at Western Electric Company/AT&T Technologies Inc. where she retired in 1988. She was a member of the Communication Workers of America Retirees Club (CWA Local 3060) and spent many years volunteering in the Salvation Army's Home League where she served as Treasurer. In addition to her mother, Ms. Livingston was preceded in death by her step-father, Reece Marsh; a brother, Donald ""Landon"" Marsh; and her great-granddaughter, Gentry Hale.
Surviving are her daughters, Linda Patterson (Ronnie), Lorene Hodges, and Shirley Hale (Eddie) all of Winston-Salem; two sisters, Gracie Shell of Winston-Salem and Arlene Marsh of King, NC; three granddaughters, Robin P. Ball (Dean) of Advance, NC, Lori Patterson of East Bend, NC, and Tamara H. Balon (David) of Fort Worth, TX; two grandsons, Eddie ""Butch"" Hale, Jr. (Becky) of Pfafftown, NC and Jason Hale (Erica) of Winston-Salem; four great-grandsons, Ryan Ball of New York, NY, Shane Balon of Fort Worth, TX, Samuel ""Sammy"" Hale and Levi Hale of Winston-Salem; and five great-granddaughters, Ashley Hale of Pfafftown, NC, Riley Ball of Advance, NC, Alexis ""Lexi"" Hale of Winston-Salem, Reese Balon of Fort Worth, TX, and Lennox Hale of Winston-Salem; and numerous nephews and nieces. Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, July 6, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Lt. Karl Bush, Pastor of the Salvation Army officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
