Ilene Cranfill Whisenhunt

Mrs. Ilene Cranfill Whisenhunt, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2008. She was born May 31, 1925 in Forsyth County to Myrtle and Jim Cranfill. Ilene was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, two brothers and her daughter, Carolyn Whisenhunt Younts. Surviving are her husband of 69 years, Haywood E. Whisenhunt; a daughter, Linda Reed (husband Vernon); three grandchildren, Sherry Y. Scales (husband Dennis), Calvin Younts, Jr. (wife Patsy) and David Younts (wife Tracey) and two great grandchildren, Nathan and Megan Scales. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, September 19, 2008 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory with Rev. Norwood Green officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel
