Mrs. Ida Belle Knight McFrederick, 73, of Winston-Salem died Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born December 15, 1941 in Portage County, OH, the daughter of the late John Edward and Ruby Mildred King Knight. Mrs. McFrederick was a member of Holy Bible Baptist Church. She was Head Cashier at Food Lion, retiring following sixteen years of service. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Mark Allen McFrederick and a brother, Paul Knight. Survivors include her husband, Rev. Charles Edward McFrederick of the home; seven children, Senya Grubbs of Winston-Salem, Karl McFrederick and wife, Shelly of Mocksville, Christina James and husband, Norman of Winston-Salem, Darlene Rogers and husband, Jeff of OH, Robbie McFrederick and wife, Michelle of IN, Sabrina Smith and husband, Keith of Concord and Heather Smith and husband, Ronnie of Atlanta, GA; twenty three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and two brothers, Dale Knight of Winston-Salem and John Knight and wife, Zoanne of OH. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor George Goggin and Pastor Dennis Weber officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. The family would like to say a special thank you to Molly Ball and Sandy Jarvis for their loving support and care shown to Ida during this time.
