Ibelisa Colon Zayas

Mrs. Ibelisa Colon Zayas, 89, passed away Monday, December 11, 2023. She was born September 28, 1934, in Puerto Rico to the late Eduardo Melendez and Maria Morales. Ibelisa enjoyed traveling with her husband during his career in the Air Force. In addition, she loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Enrique Zayas. She is survived by her three children, Letisia, Edward, and Daisy; six grandchildren, Edward, Jr, Brianna, Brandy, Andrea, Sheila, and Icis; and three great-grandchildren, Sophia, Wyatt, and Jon. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until 12:00PM Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel.
