Hulda F. Sparks, 90, of Newnan, Georgia originally of Winston-Salem, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2010 at Wesley Woods Newnan-Peachtree City. She was the middle child with four older sisters and five younger brothers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Sparks; and a son, Jerry Sims. She is survived by immediate family: daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Richard Barrow of Newnan, Georgia; and grandson, Jeff Sapp of Roswell, Georgia. She also has many nieces and nephews she loved very much. Hulda was very active in her local community and local church, Pine Chapel Moravian. She loved to travel and was known for her wonderful cooking. The family invites everyone to Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home on Silas Creek Parkway for visitation from noon until 2 pm on Sunday, November 28, 2010 followed by a graveside service and interment at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pine Chapel Moravian Church in memory of Hulda Sparks, 324 Goldfloss Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27127.
