Hubert Williams

Hubert Otis Williams, 89, of Winston-Salem, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.

Otis was born January 15, 1932 in Yadkin County to Nathan and Pearl Williams.  He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.  Upon returning, he worked for most of his career in the trucking industry.  In his free time, Otis was an actively involved member of Clemmons First Baptist Church and with Boy Scout Troop 736.

Otis is survived by his wife of 70 years, Nancy Rhyne Williams; children, Sharon Rogers (Jeff) and Kenneth Williams (Elaine); grandchildren, Melinda Bethune (Scott), Chad Rogers (Kayla), and Adam Rogers (Jessica); great grandchildren, Jacob, Ady, and Kaleigh Bethune, and Daniel Rogers; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private celebration of Otis’s life will be held.
