Mr. Hoyt Clinton Hoilman, 88, of Rural Hall, passed away Sat., Feb. 14, 2015 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born on Jan. 18, 1927 in Forsyth Co. to Dover C. Hoilman and Velma A. Hoilman. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Western Electric/Lucent Technologies with 37 years of service. Hoyt and Dolores looked forward to hooking up their Airstream and spending May and Sept. at Ocean Lake Family Campground at Myrtle Beach. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Hoilman is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dolores Hartlage Hoilman; one brother, James E. Hoilman; brother-in-law, A. Fred Hartlage (Diann); two sisters-in-law, Katherine Coats (Terry), Susan Grubbs (Steve); three nieces, Merryl Hoilman, Gina Hoilman, and Denise Everette (Jess); two nephews, Stephen Coats (Melissa), Allan Coats (Stacey). A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, Feb. 19, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Rev. Brian Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the Hospice team and to the neighbors and friends for their prayers and kindness during Hoyt's declining health. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
