Hoyt Dean Greer

Mr. Hoyt Dean Greer, 65, passed away Tuesday, October 7 at High Point Regional Hospital. He was born June 8, 1943 in Wilkes County to Raleigh Scott and Madeline Bledsoe Greer. Dean was preceded in death by his father. Surviving are his mother, Madeline B. Greer; three sisters, Sandy Stomean, Susan Harrison (Roger), and Sally Greer; two brothers, Terry Greer (Teeny) and Tim Greer; one son, Dustin Greer; and two special friends, Frankie and Les Stromfield. A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 10 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Yates officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Crest of Clemmons and Piedmont Christian Home of High Point for the care given to Dean.
