Howard Malcolm Carver

KERNERSVILLE-Howard Malcolm Carver, 72, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born May 24, 1938 in Kenova, WV to the late Harold and Hazel Akers Carver. Mr. Carver was a Mason and a member of the VFW in Ceredo, WV. He retired from Andrews Van Lines after many years of service; and then retired in 2006 from Baker Construction. Surviving are his loving wife of 30 years, Marie Carver of the home; four children, Bambi, Michelle, Timothy, and Robyn; one sister and four brothers, Pamela Holcombe and husband, David of Dawsonville, GA, Jack Carver and wife, Joann of Horn Lake, MS, Marshall Carver and wife, Joann of Kissimmee, FL, Larry Carver and wife, Diana of Huntington, WV, and Mark Carver and wife, Sandra of Bedford, PA; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, September 19, 2010 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Gray Fansler, Sr. officiating.
