Hope Elaine Griffin

Hope Elaine Griffin passed away April 27, 2012 at the age of 95 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She had been in declining health for several months. She was a lifelong resident of Rural Hall, NC and a member of Rural Hall Baptist Church. She was born February 8, 1917 to Cammie Jane Griffin, who predeceased her in 1974. She worked for Hanes Hosiery her entire career, retiring in 1982. Her aunt Mary Elizabeth (Lizzie) Griffin predeceased her in 1982 and her beloved cousin, Shirley Griffin Berry, in June of 2003. She is survived by 2 cousins, Robert F. Berry of Lexington, NC and his son Matthew of Winston-Salem, NC and Elizabeth Berry Lau and husband, Winston, of Wyckoff, NJ, their children and grandchildren, Christopher and Kathleen Lau, Brandon, Christian and Jonathan of Saddle Brook, NJ and Alexander and Arley Lau, Tyler and Emma of Melrose, MA. A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Rural Hall Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kate B.
