Hobert Ray Hutchins

Mr. Hobert ""Ray"" Hutchins, 81, passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born December 19, 1935 in Yadkin County, the son of Stantford and Dollie Caudle Hutchins. He was employed most of his life in the furniture business. Ray was a regular attendee at the Bowman Grey races, almost to the last and loved his dog, Amber, they were the best of buddies. Ray is at peace now, as it was seen in his face when he passed from this world. He is preceded in death by his parents; six brothers and two sisters. Survivors include many nieces and nephews especially his nephew and caregiver, Phillip Hutchins. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, August 3, 2017 in Crestview Memorial Park with the Rev. Francis Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, August 3, 2017at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
