Hiram Allman Spainhour

Mr. Hiram Allman Spainhour, 92, of Winston-Salem passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Brookridge Retirement Community. He was born July 25, 1922 in Forsyth County to Hiram Edward and Madge Allman Spainhour. He was a graduate of Hanes High School, a veteran of the Flying Tigers US Army Air Corp serving in WWII, a member of Northwest Baptist Church and was retired from McLean Trucking after 38 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Spainhour. Surviving are 4 children, James A. Spainhour (Frances), Susan Binkley (Rodney), Donna McGee (Keith) and Allen Spainhour (Patricia); 5 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. A private family graveside service will be at Forsyth Memorial Park with Rev. Marvin Coone officiating.
