Hershell Bennett Wright

Mr. Hershell Bennett Wright, 84, of Winston-Salem passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Brian Center of Lexington. He was born February 25, 1930 in Carroll County, Virginia to Bert and Lemmie Bedwell Wright. He was a veteran of US Army serving in the Korean War and was retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Betty Manual Wright; a daughter, Melissa Cervone; 3 grandchildren, Sydney, Courtney and Anthony Cervone; and 2 sisters, Dorothy Waller of Virginia and Margaret Stoneman of Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Mike Waller and Mr. Wayne Linville officiating. Burial will follow in Waughtown Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
