Herman Wilson

Mr. Herman Leon Wilson, 90, of Pfafftown passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. Mr. Wilson was born in Spray, NC to the late Albert F. Wilson Sr. and Bessie Harris Wilson on January 2, 1932. He was a longtime member of North Point Baptist Church where he once served on the Deacon Board. Herman worked in Engineering, Electrical and Instrumentation for R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company and retired with 30 years of service. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Nell Hollandsworth Wilson and infant daughter, Pamela; siblings, Doris Pruitt, Al Wilson Jr., Geneva Walker, Ennion Wilson and Calvin Wilson. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Donna Wilson; granddaughter, Morgan Wilson; grandson, Lucas Wilson; sisters, Christine Hailey, Marilyn King; sister-in-law, Marie Wilson and brother-in-law, Anacin King. Herman is also survived by two nephews that are especially close, Keith Wilson and Dr. Herb King.

The family would like to express their sincere and deep appreciation to the staff of Trinity Elms Health and Rehab in Clemmons. Their professionalism, superb care and compassion were truly remarkable and will never be forgotten.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, March 7, 2022 at North Point Baptist Church, 4980 University Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC. with Pastor, Skip Furrow officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to North Point Baptist Church.
