Herman Talmage Moore

Moore Mr. Herman Talmage Moore, age 78, died Monday morning, October 27, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Herman was born November 23, 1929 in Forsyth County to the late Tanard Roosevelt and late Mabel Shaw Moore. He was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. Herman was a very loving, caring and great husband, father, paw-paw, and great grand-paw-paw. He enjoyed gardening, working in his yard and feeding all natures animals that surrounded him. In addition to his parents Herman was preceded in death by a brother Garvey Moore. Surviving is his wife of 58 years Grace Moore of the home. A son; Rodney, Sr. (Bunny) Moore of Winston-Salem. Two Grandchildren: Rodney, Jr. (Sandy) Moore and Christine (Stephen) Bright. Three great grandchildren; Kayla and Justin Moore and McKenna Bright. Two sisters; Marion (Milton) Rogers of Winston-Salem and Shirley (Reese) Miles of Florida. Two brothers; James (Theda) Moore of Florida and Kenneth (Novella) Moore of Pfafftown. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning, October 29, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall by Dr. Gus Thomas. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening, October 28, 2008 from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M.
