Herbert Walker Jr.

Herbert Marshall Walker Jr, 50, passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. He was born on June 5, 1972, in Forsyth County to Judy and Herbert Walker Sr. Herbert was an easygoing man known for his love of vehicles, in particular old-fashioned Mustangs. As well as muscle cars, Herbert found joy in BMX bikes and spending time with his family. Herbert will always be remembered as a man who loved to laugh and make others laugh.

Herbert Jr is preceded in death by his brother Marshall “Tinker” Keith Walker.

As well as his parents, those left to cherish Herbert’s memory include his son Jacob Lee Walker (Brittany); daughter Jessica Lynn Walker (Shaun); three grandchildren Braelynn Mae Walker, Bentley Lee Walker, and Ava Nicole Means; brother Jimmy Wayne Walker; sister Kathy Rushing (Rocky) and many special nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Jason McGee officiating. The family will be seeing visitors from 12:00 PM- 1:45 PM prior to the service. Interment will follow at Mt. Gur Cemetery.
