Herbert Harrison Noah, 58, went to be with the Lord September 17, 2009, after a battle with cancer. He fought long and hard defeating the many odds with an amazing positive attitude for life and living. He had a great passion for love and happiness and touched the lives of many with his testimony. No one ever had to doubt where his faith laid because it shined through him. When asked, ""What do you know good?"" his reply always was ""Jesus'. If he could have one last request, it would be for someone to shout, praise God, or run around the church a couple times. There will be a great void without him here and we'll miss him dearly. Harrison is survived by the love of his life, Shirley Noah, who was his heaven on earth. He is also survived by his daughter, Jessica Noah; son, Timothy Noah; brothers, Larry and Bernie Noah; and four grandbabies, Abigail, Olivia, Ashton and Abby. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, September 20 with the funeral service immediately following at his church, Christ Temple, at 2935 Cole Road. His body will be laid to rest at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown thereafter. Funeral arrangements will be provided by Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
