Herbert Eugene Ford

Mr. Herbert Eugene Ford, 68, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017 at his home. He was born in Forsyth County on August 23, 1948 to the late Clifton Frederick and Alma Young Ford. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served in Vietnam. Mr. Ford worked for over 30 years at E.G. Forrest. Surviving are two brothers, William ""Bill"" Ford (Bunny) of Walkertown and Rick Wayne Ford (Martha) of Apex; one sister, Janet Ford Linville (Ed) of Lewisville; also surviving are several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Brenda Page. A memorial service will be held 7:00 PM Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Friends Baptist Church in Clemmons, NC with Pastor Daron Osborne and Pastor Jimmy Scales officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
