Herbert Curtis Dunn

Herbert Curtis Dunn, 78, passed away February 21, 2017. He was born on January 11, 1939 in Richmond County, Augusta, GA to the late Roland Herbert Dunn and Mamie Lou Mallard Dunn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Norma Dunn. Herbert is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Betty Shoffner Dunn; his daughter, Jacqueline Griffin and husband Mark; his son, David Dunn-Lewis and partner Lance Lewis; two step-children, Jay Threadgill and Donna Anne Lott and husband Eric; three grandchildren, Emily, Victoria, and Conor; his sister, Nancy Adams and husband Jack, and many other relatives and loved ones. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Bret Cogan officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park in Lexington, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
