Herbert Frederick Anderson, Jr.

Mr. Herbert Frederick Anderson, Jr. passed away early Friday morning, October 26, 2012 in Nashville, TN. Herbert was born in Forsyth County on February 7, 1918 to the late Herbert Anderson, Sr. and Etta Tatum Anderson. He was a Scottish Rite Mason and a member at Home Moravian Church. Herbert served our country in the US Army during World War II. He was preceded in death by wife Ruth Everhart Anderson and sister Elizabeth Anderson Bayless. Herbert is survived by daughter Marjorie S. Anderson; grandson Michael Anderson Johnson, his wife Theresa, and their children Ayden Johnson and Michael Nofsinger; granddaughter Jennifer Johnson Shogren, her husband Nathan, and their children Lanie Ruth Shogren and Colton Shogren. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Salem Moravian Graveyard with Rev. Rick Sides and Rev. G. Thomas Shelton officiating.
