Henry Ray Williams

Mr. Henry Ray Williams, 88, of Mocksville passed away Friday, July 18, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born August 4, 1919 in Harrell, AR to Ray and Ruth Childs Williams. Mr. Williams was of the Methodist faith and a veteran of the U.S. Navy who served during WWII on a submarine chaser on the east coast. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Surviving him is his loving wife of 67 years, Lillian D. Williams of the home; two daughters, Judy Konopnicki and husband David of Lakeland, FL and Janene Chessman and husband Michael of Advance; four grandchildren, Karen Chappell, Todd Konopnicki and Dustin and Jaime Chessman; three great grandchildren, Brantley and Evan Chappell and Alyssa Belle Cashwell.
