Henry Hassel Mabe

Walkertown - Henry Hassel Mabe, 84, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. Henry was born on December 10, 1932 in Stokes County to Rufus Franklin and Lillian Priddy Mabe. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and loved his family dearly. Henry was a hard-working man who loved to garden. He will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Elaine Armstrong; a son, Tony Ray Mabe; two brothers and one sister.
Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Marie Mabe; three daughters, Sheila Morris, Linda Hill and Peggy Stevenson; a son, Ronnie Mabe; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and a brother, Harvey Mabe.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown.
