Henry Dalton Hartman

Mr. Henry Dalton Hartman, Jr., 55, of Advance passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He was born February 28, 1954 in Forsyth County to Henry Dalton and Inez Dull Hartman. He was a tobacco farmer most of his life and also was formerly employed with RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company, Three Way Service and Morton Metal Craft. Mr. Hartman was preceded in death by his father; a nephew, Jonathan Hutchens and a brother-in-law, Bill Hutchens. Surviving is his wife, Tommie Hammock Hartman; a daughter, Laine Hartman; a son, Dalton Hartman; a grandson, Cody; his mother; four sisters, Doris Hutchens, Julia Ellis and husband Robbie, Mandy Grubbs and husband Johnnie and Mary Jane Potts and husband Buck, all of Advance and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2009 at Mocks United Methodist Church with Mr. Chick Plunkett officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
