Helen "June" Lowe

June Wright Lowe, 80, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023.  She was born Helen June Wright on October 14, 1942, in Cumberland County North Carolina to Harry Elbert Wright and Hazel Carty Wright.

She was a very caring and kind person who would help anyone in any way that she could, be they human or animal. She had quite a vivacious personality and a creative spirit. Crocheting, reading, playing Scrabble, and sports (particularly baseball) were her true passions.

For most of her life, she worked with numbers, keeping the books for various companies and non-profit organizations before retiring to become her mother’s full-time caregiver.

In 1963, she married C. Marshall Lowe, her high school sweetheart. This marriage produced two children, who were everything to her.

She is survived by her daughter, Gina Jarrett, and her husband Steve of Winston-Salem; son, Marshall Lowe Jr., of Saint Louis, MO; brother Harry Wright, and his wife Rhodortha, of Greensboro; as well as many other loving friends and family.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
