Helen Lundy Wright

Winston-Salem - Helen Lundy Wright, 91, passed away after a long illness Friday, November 19, 2010 at her home. She was born August 13, 1919 in Surry County, to the late James Garlie and Mattie Bartley Lundy. She was a member of Sedge Garden Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lephon Jeremias and two grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, Byron Wright, of the home; one daughter, Carol Hoover( husband, Richard); three sons, Johnny Hall (wife, Molene), Jimmy Hall (wife, Jo), and Lundy Hall (wife, Wendy); four step-daughters, Cheryl Mayes (husband, Steve), Robin Vantorre (husband, Gene), Lori Vest (husband Kevin) and Tina Ragan; thirteen grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Monday, November 22, 2010 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. David Miller officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 -1:00 pm prior to the service on Monday at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Kate B.
