Helen Sparks

Mrs. Helen Azmon Sparks, 93, passed away Sunday February 25, 2018. She was born in Forsyth Co. on October 4, 1924 the daughter of the late James Albert Azmon and Alma Newsome Azmon. Mrs. Sparks was a graduate of Mineral Springs High School and worked for R. J. Reynolds No. 40 Foil Plant for 25 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, Billy Sparks, who she loved from the first time they met until the day she died. She was also preceded in death by a sister and travel companion, Dorothy Beamon. She is survived by her son, Billy Sparks, Jr. (Maxine); a brother, James Kenneth Azmon; two grandchildren, Michael Lovelace (Michelle) and Brandi Stephens (Rodney); three great-grandchildren, Anthony Lovelace, Ryan Stephens and Brittany Beck; and a great-great-grandson, Camden. To honor Mrs. Sparks' wishes services will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials made be made to: Winston-Salem Rescue Mission.
