Helen 'Jo' Sawyer

Mrs. Helen ""Jo"" Sawyer, 91, of Winston-Salem died Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born November 25, 1919 in Toronto, Canada, the daughter of the late, Robert and Violet Lawrence Warren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ellsworth H. Sawyer. Survivors include two sisters, Bette L. Kirkland and Patricia A. Warren of Winston-Salem; two nieces, Edith M. Clooney and husband, Jimmie of MA and Eugenie L. Kemp and husband, John of SC; and a number of great nieces and great nephews. A funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 AM at Forsyth Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
