Helen Marshall Renegar

Mrs. Helen Marshall Renegar, 84, died Friday, July 25, 2014 at Grayson Creek of Welcome. She was born April 13, 1930 in Forsyth County, the daughter of the late, Charlie E. and Christine Parker Marshall. Mrs. Renegar was a devout Christian of the Baptist Faith and loved watching Dr. Charles Stanlely on TV. She spent most of her life in Forsyth County and retired from Hanes Hosiery Mill following 45 years of service. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Roger Renegar. Survivors include one sister, Rowena Reeves of Winston-Salem; two brothers, Zeno Marshall (Joyce) of Midway and Jerry Marshall (Fran) of Welcome; and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Entombment will be at 11:00 AM Monday at Gardens of Memory Mausoleum in Walkertown. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
