Helen Catherine Chambers Linville

Winston-Salem - Mrs. Helen Catherine Chambers Linville, 81, passed away June 6, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born January 17, 1929 in Wilkes Co. to the late Angus E. and Cora Jane Reeves Chambers. Helen was a member of Glenn View Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters. Surviving are: her loving husband of 62 yrs., Arthur J. Linville, a daughter, Karen Alicia Davis and husband William of Kernersville, two sons, James Ronald Linville and wife Alice of Union Cross, and Robin Arthur Linville and wife Amy of Pfafftown, one brother, Harvey Chambers of Wilkesboro, nine grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00AM Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel by Rev. Johnny Gupton. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the service, Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Brenner Children's Hospital at Medical Center Boulevard Winston Salem, NC 27157, or to St. Jude Children Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
