Helen Lucile Banner Caffey

Mrs. Helen Lucile Banner Caffey, age 89 of Winston-Salem passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016 at the Brian Center Nursing Center in Winston-Salem. Mrs. Caffey was born in Forsyth County July 19, 1927 to Charles Frank Banner and Bessie Berrier Banner. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Winston-Salem and retired from Hanes Knitwear and Fairchild Burns Industries. In addition to her parents Mrs. Caffey was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Frank Caffey, four sisters and two brothers. Mrs. Caffey is survived by one daughter, Patricia ""Pat"" K. Anderson of Belews Creek. One son, Dalton (Debbie) Caffey of Pfafftown. Three grandchildren; Joshua (Kayla) Caffey, Ricky Anderson and Andrea Anderson. Several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. One sister, Katherine Hudson of Walkertown. Several nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Mrs. Caffey will be held Wednesday morning, July 27, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Forsyth Memorial Park in Winston-Salem by Rev. David Harmon. There will be no formal visitation.
