Heather Suzanne Fincher Dixon

Mrs. Heather Suzanne Fincher Dixon, 39, of Winston-Salem, NC, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 6, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Heather was born on September 13, 1983, in Forsyth County to Jimmy Fincher and Kim Reece Carver.

Throughout her life, Heather enjoyed many things, but what she held most dearest to her heart was being able to love and care for her family. She loved being a mother to her two sons, and loved being surrounded by her family. She especially loved each Christmas season surrounded by her loved ones, and both giving and receiving gifts. Heather also enjoyed her career working as a pre-school teacher, where the children also grew to love her. During the summer months, she enjoyed trips to the beach, or any other destination where the sun was shining. Heather loved to shop, as she had a collection of clothes, shoes, and purses.

Heather leaves behind her loving husband, William Christopher Dixon; her 2 sons, Tyler Logan and Trenton Dixon; parents, Jimmy (Linda) Fincher and Kim (Joseph, Jr.) Carver; 2 sisters, Amanda Fincher and Brandi Shiffert; brother, James Fincher; mother and father-in-law, Tammie and Chris Dixon; and many, many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

A celebration of Heather’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Wallburg Baptist Church with Pastor Brandon Wolfe officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
