Heather Renee Bagg (Conner)

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our sweet Heather, who went home to be with God on February 22, 2025, at the age of 48. She had battled melanoma cancer for over four and a half years and was winning until the very end. She spent the final week of her life at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, where she was surrounded by the people that loved her most. Absent from the body, present with the Lord. Heather Renee Bagg (Conner) was born to James and Barbara Conner on October 17, 1976, in Lewisville, NC. She married the love of her life Nathan Bagg on June 26, 1999. The joys of her life are her three beautiful daughters Rachael, Madeline and Hannah. Heather was a stay-at-home mom where she focused her time on her kiddos. There is nothing mama bear would not have done for them. She showed them what it means to be sweet, hardworking and followers of Christ. She was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ. She covered her family, friends and community in fervent prayer. Her unwavering faith and her kind gentle spirit touched the lives of all she knew. Heather’s advice to her girls in the final moments of her life was for them to “FOCUS ON THE LORD”. In 2018 Heather started Greenbriar Driving Academy with her best friend and husband, Nathan. Their relationship grew as they worked to better their community by training safe, responsible drivers. 

A celebration of Sweet Heather’s life will be held at Calvary Baptist Church at 134 S. Peace Haven Road, Winston Salem, NC 27104 on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 4:00 PM. Visitation will immediately follow the service.
