Hazel Robertson Fishel

Hazel Robertson Fishel, 90, of Winston-Salem, passed away Sunday, December 25 at Trellis Hospice Home. She was born in Forsyth County to Howard and Katherine Hutchinson Robertson.  She was a graduate of Clemmons School and attended Bridgewater College. She was married to Charles E. Fishel and had two sons, Timothy and Howard Fishel. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Dalton and John Robertson and her husband and two sons. She is survived by nieces Joan R. Swaringen (Mark) and Karen F. Kiger ( Donald) and nephews Larry Robertson (Brenda) and David Robertson, and several grand-nieces and nephews. She retired as a cafeteria manager with the WS/FC School System. She also worked part-time at Lowe’s Foods and Belks. She was a lifelong member of Fraternity Church of the Brethren and an associate member of Friedberg Moravian Church. Services will be held on Monday, January 02 at 11:00 at Fraternity Church of the Brethren by Pastors David Ansley of Fraternity and James Nelson, Jr. Of Friedberg, with visitation following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fraternity Church of the Brethren, 3760 Fraternity Church Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27127 or Friedberg Moravian Church, 2178 Friedberg Church Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27127
