Hazel Gregory Stevenson

Mrs. Hazel Baity Gregory Stevenson, 86, of Clemmons, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on January 21, 1930 in Davie County to Flora Gregory and William Edward Baity. Mrs. Stevenson was a lifelong member of Clemmons First Baptist Church and retired from Hanes Knitting. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Carl Gregory; brother, Wade Baity; half-brother, Calvin Baity; two sisters, Vatra Tranthum and Cleo Everidge. She is survived by her husband, Charles Stevenson; step-son, Adrian Stevenson; step-daughter, Gail Alexander; sister, Mildred Scott; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 pm on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Saturday at the funeral home. A committal service will be held at 10:00am, Monday at Westlawn Gardens of Memory. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Clemmons First Baptist Church, 3530 Clemmons Rd, Clemmons, NC 27012.
