Hazel Shoaf Marsh

Hazel Lucille Shoaf Marsh, 81, of Winston-Salem passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born on September 20, 1933 to Thomas Osco Shoaf and Ida Mae Sowers Shoaf in Midway in Davidson County and was one of nine children. Hazel will always be remembered as a giving person who loved her family very much. She will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Paul E. Marsh. Surviving are 3 children, Don Marsh (Deneen), Deborah Wood, and Tammy Turner (Dale); 8 grandchildren, Jessica, Hailey, Aspen, Cortney, Whitney, Morgan, Deanna, and Jacob; 3 great grandchildren, Alyssa, Alanna, and Skylar; as well as 5 siblings, Frances Rothrock, Margie Vanhoy, Lonnie Shoaf, Robert Shoaf, and Tommy Shoaf. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Frank Shumate officiating.
