Hazel Fitts Anders

KERNERSVILLE - Hazel Fitts Anders, 79, passed away Friday, July 8, 2011, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Hazel was born February 2, 1932 in Forsyth Co. to the late Jessie and Ethel White McDaniel. She retired from Hanes Hosiery and was a member of Bible Revival Ministries in Kernersville. Hazel was a loving mother to everyone she met. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Fitts, two brothers and two sisters. Surviving are her husband, Russ Anders; three sons, Chris (DeeDee) Fitts, of Kernersville, Bill (Karen) of Greenville, SC, and Bob (Maricar) of Houston, TX; one daughter, Brenda (Darry) Williams of Georgetown, SC; one sister, Margaret Taylor of Newport News, VA; eight grand children; and six great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 11, 2011 at Bible Revival Ministries with Rev. Bill Daniels officiating. A private graveside will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July, 12, 2011 at Mt. Olivet Church Cemetery in Fries, VA. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
