Hattie Mae Ward Angel

Mrs. Hattie Mae Ward Angel, 85, went home to be with her Lord and Savior October 27, 2008.She was born January 18, 1923 in Stokes County to the late Gideon Chester Ward and Bessie Faye Stoker Ward. Mrs. Angel was a member of Faith Assembly of God and a graduate of Wake Forest University. She retired from the Internal Revenue Service as a CPA. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two grandsons, Andrew Wood and Jason Tate. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, L. Wallace Angel of the home, one daughter, Patricia Lee of Kernersville and a granddaughter, Amanda Perdue of Kernersville. A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 Thursday, October 30, 2008 at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall. There will be no formal visitation.
