Harvey Gray Meadows

Mr. Harvey Gray ""Tincey"" Meadows, 92, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. He was born May 14, 1924 in Forsyth County to the late Nora Ellen Victoria Hauser Meadows and Oscar Edgar Meadows. Harvey loved farming and mowing his yard. In addition to his parents, Harvey was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Butner Meadows; three brothers: Edgar Wilson Meadows, Henry Arlis Meadows, and Hubert Ray Meadows; and one sister, Irene Meadows Nelson. He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Meadows of Tobaccoville; grandson, Michael Marsh (Renee Shrewsberry) of Beckley, WV; great-granddaughter, Cheyenne Nicole Marsh; several nieces and nephews; and his canine companion, Sophie. A funeral service will be conducted 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 25, at Gospel Baptist Church in Pinnacle with Pastor John Hylton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
