Clemmons-Mr. Harry Hauser Tucker, 81, passed away Friday, April 27, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born September 30, 1930 in Forsyth County to the late George Edward and Mattie Hauser Tucker. Mr. Tucker was a faithful and devout Christian. He was a long-time member of Salem Baptist Church and was a current member of Center Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Tucker served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He later worked for R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. retiring with 30 years of service. Mr. Tucker was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Preceding him in death were four sisters and six brothers. Surviving is his wife of 55 years, Murlean Bryant Tucker of the home; daughter, Karen Tucker Fuquay (Jonathan); two sons, Brian Tucker (Barbara) and David Tucker (Karen); five grandchildren, Christina, Matthew (Samantha), Whitney, Andrew, and Daniel; step-grandson, Derick; one great-granddaughter, Mikaela; also surviving is a sister-in-law, Margaret Tucker. A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with Rev. Floyd Boles officiating. Entombment will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Center Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 8200 Center Grove Church Road Clemmons, NC 27012.
