Harry 'Webb' Thomas

Mr. Harry Webster ""Webb"" Thomas, age 69 of Lexington, went to be with the Lord, April 21, 2013. He was born July 18, 1943 to the late Harry C. and Anna W. Thomas. Mr. Thomas worked in the family construction business (Thomas Construction) alongside his father and brothers since he was old enough to swing a hammer. He is preceded in death by two brothers, John Keith and Richard Daniel. Surviving are his wife, Nancy; five children, Jeff, Clint, Daniel, Leigh Anne and Christina; one step-son, Jeff; six brothers and sisters, Bird, Nancy, AnnLou, Becky, Frankie and Bruce; 14 grandchildren, Alex, Emma, Josh, Danielle, Katie, Julie, Shelby, Michala, Justin, Gavin, Kyra, Jeffrey, Betsy and Thomas and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Calvary United Church of Christ in Thomasville by Rev. Kelly Barefoot. Burial will follow at Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Webb would request, in lieu of flowers, ""a stack of new $100 bills, six feet high"" for the candy fund at Calvary United Church of Christ, 1410 Lexington Ave. Thomasville, NC 27360.
