WINSTON SALEM - Harry James Terry, 60, passed away Monday, December 5, 2011 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born February 4, 1951 in Durham Co. to the late Claude and Louise Clayton Terry. Harry was an avid golfer, ballroom dancer, and comedian. He was very much the extravert; he loved to make people laugh and would help all people no matter what the circumstance. Harry was the owner of EagleVac Services; and had served in the United States Marine Corp. in Panama. Surviving are his wife, Janet Cummings Terry of the home; two sons, Jarett Terry and wife, Mindy of Winston Salem, Douglas Smith of Kernersville; one daughter, Bridget Terry-Hollis and David Hollis of Burlington; one granddaughter, Ashlyn Fowler; and one sister, Mary T. Councilman of Greensboro. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 11:00 am Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel. A Committal Service will be conducted at 3:00 pm Thursday at Wheelers Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Person Co. with Rev. Pennington officiating.
