Harriet Louise Setzer Propst

Mrs. Harriet Louise Setzer Propst, 58, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away peacefully July 27, 2008 at home with her family. Surviving to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Gene Propst and their two loving daughters, Samantha Louise Propst and Molly Elizabeth Propst. Harriet Propst was born on December 23, 1949 to the late Harry and Edith Setzer. She was a graduate of Valdese High School Class of 1968. She attended both Western Carolina University and the University of Tennessee. Harriet possessed the biggest heart and lived for her family and friends. Her sharp sense of humor, and style, her love of animals, especially her cats and birds along with gardening and entertaining made her someone that all loved and cherished. As an avid reader and lover of cinema, Harriet was a true patron of the arts. She was a worldly and well traveled woman. Harriet, most of all enjoyed being at her beautiful home, with her beloved Gene at her side, cooking and entertaining family and friends with the most beautiful smile on her face. Harriet was truly loved and will always be cherished in our memories. The family will receive friends, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, August 2, at Hayworth-Miller Funeral home, 3315 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
