Harold Cleveland Smith

KERNERSVILLE-Harold Cleveland Smith, 85, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. He was born October 27, 1928 in Forsyth Co. to the late Stokes Ervin and Carrie Louise Hubbard Smith.

Harold retired from AT&T after 37 years of service.

Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Bernice Idol Smith of the home; daughter, Jennifer S. Rollosson and husband, Curt of Winston Salem; sons, David H. Smith and wife, Linda of Kernersville and Danny E. Smith and friend, Anita Holder of Greensboro; grandchildren, SSG Tyler Smith and wife, SSG Christina, A1C Clayton Smith, Jamie Smith, MSG Cam Rollosson and wife, Erica, and Senn Atkins and husband, Scott; and great-grandchildren, Jackson Rollosson, Harper and Annalee Atkins.

A Funeral Service to honor his life will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Bunker Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. David Rorie officiating. Burial will follow in Bunker Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel.
