Harold Jones

Harold Sidney “Sid” Jones, 92, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021 at his home.  He was born in Forsyth County on January 3, 1929 to the late Pleasant and Lillie Jones.  Mr. Jones worked for many years at Joe’s Landscaping.  He was an ordained minister and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church where he also cleaned for the church daycare.  Preceding him in death was his wife, Ruby Jones; son, Timothy Jones and a brother, Frank Jones.  Surviving is a grandson, Dustin Jones; daughter, Della Jones; two granddaughters, Mikayla Jones and Danielle Jones; two great-grandchildren, Skyler and Lillian and a sister, Dorothy Myers.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Immanuel Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Jonathan Smith and Pastor L.C. Taylor officiating.  The family will receive friends at the graveside.  Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel is serving the family of Mr. Jones.
