Harold Dan Reich

Mr. Harold Dan Reich, age 86 of Winston-Salem passed away Tuesday evening February 28, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mr. Reich was born in Forsyth County January 16, 1926 to Clarence Thomas and Florence Duggins Reich. He was a faithful member of Beck's Baptist Church in Winston-Salem until his declining health. Mr. Reich enjoyed fishing and watching Gun Smoke on the Western movie channel. He was a good dad, hard worker and loved his family dearly. Mr. Reich loved to teach others his trade as a brick mason and the art of laying rock. He was a veteran having served his country in the US Navy. In addition to his parents Mr. Reich was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Reich and one brother, C.T. Reich. Mr. Reich is survived by one daughter, Brenda (Mike) Gray, and three sons; Terry (Valerie) Reich, David (Elaine) Reich and Tim (Sherry) Reich. Nine grandchildren: Rhonda (Todd) Brooks, Angela (Andrew) Carraway, Casey (Adrienne) Reich, Amanda Reich, Samuel and Christopher Reich, Laura Anne Reich also Chandler and Gabriel Reich. Four great-grandchildren: Hayden Brooks, Hailey Reich, Amni and Axton Carraway. One sister; Inez Rule and two brothers; Jack and Danny Reich. One uncle; Herbert ""Snake"" Reich. Several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Friday morning, March 2, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall by Dr. Karl Minor. A memorial service will follow at Beck's Baptist Church in Winston-Salem at 12:30 P.M. The family will receive friends at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall Thursday evening March 1st from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.
